​The Distinct Advantage Scholarship
Since 1865, Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity has been a provider for amazing lifetime opportunities to collegiate men. Regarded as America’s Leadership Development Fraternity, Alpha Tau Omega provides students the means to do more with their college experience. Through innovative programs, ATO enhances leadership, scholarship, friendship, brotherhood, community service and involvement, social life and more, all with real-life applicable experiences.
The Offer
The Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at Ball State University offers six scholarships totaling $6,000. There are two tiers of these scholarships:

Initiated Members of the Chapter

The True Merit Scholarship - $2,000

The Good of the Order Award​ - $1,000

The Town and Gown Scholarship - $1,000​

Most Improved Brother Scholarship - $1,000

Distinct Advantage Scholarships - Two $500 Scholarships, One for Each Pledge Class During Academic Year

Founded in 1972, the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at Ball State University prides itself in developing college men into leaders both on and off campus.
The requirements for consideration for Distinct Advantage Scholarships are:

Incoming Male attending Ball State University

Enrolled as a full-time student

Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in
